MY STORY
As a former national swimmer from the Southwest and current PhD researcher, I bring both competitive experience and a deep understanding of technique to my teaching. Swimming has always been an integral part of my life, and I am passionate about passing on my knowledge and skills to others.
What truly drives me is witnessing those breakthrough moments – be it an adult’s first independent float or an athlete shaving seconds off their personal best. I focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where your swimming goals become achievable milestones, no matter how big or small.
Whether you are looking to build water confidence, perfect your technique, or compete at an elite level, I would love to work with you on your swimming journey.
MY EXPERIENCE
I am a qualified swimming instructor with over seven years of experience, having started my coaching journey in 2017. Since then, I have worked with both children and adults, providing tailored coaching to help them improve their technique, build confidence, and reach their goals. My experience includes working with performance-level swimmers as part of the Bournemouth Collegiate School Performance Squad, as well as at Team Bath (based at the University of Bath Training Village), where I had the opportunity to support a wide range of swimmers, including aspiring Paralympian's.
In 2021, while studying at the University of Bath, I joined Precision Fuel & Hydration, a global leader in sports nutrition for elite athletes. In this role, I gained extensive experience in hydration and fuelling strategies, helping top-performing athletes optimise their performance through research-based nutrition plans. I continue to provide expert advice on nutrition, hydration, and recovery for athletes at all levels.
From 2022 to 2024, I served as a strength & conditioning assistant for University Sports Teams, predominantly basketball. In this role, I delivered performance-enhancing training, injury prevention strategies, and personalised recovery plans, further broadening my expertise in athletic performance and rehabilitation.
With expertise in swimming instruction, sports nutrition, and strength & conditioning, I am committed to helping my clients reach their full potential both in and out of the water.
